Systeme.io lists Free at $0 and paid plans at $17, $47 and $97 per month. The useful choice is the lowest tier that covers your next offer, not the one with the most features. If your current setup still fits Free, you may not need to pay today.
This guide compares subscription costs and upgrade decisions. For the full free allowance and restriction details, use our free-plan guide.
What each billing option costs
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual amount |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 |
| Startup | $17/month | $170/year |
| Webinar | $47/month | $470/year |
| Unlimited | $97/month | $970/year |
Checked September 7, 2026 on the official pricing page, using both billing settings. Annual totals are also listed in the official annual-offer details. Dollar amounts reproduce the English site’s $ display; confirm the checkout currency, applicable taxes and final charge before paying, particularly if you budget in Canadian dollars or pounds.
Annual billing: a lower average, a bigger commitment
Startup example: $170 for a year, about $14.17 per month averaged over 12 months. That average is not a $14.17 monthly payment. Twelve unchanged monthly payments total $204, so the advertised annual option saves $34 over a full year, before other charges.
The same calculation gives annual monthly equivalents of about $39.17 for Webinar and $80.83 for Unlimited. These are our arithmetic, rounded to cents, not additional billing plans.
If you only need three months to validate an offer, Startup’s monthly subscription would total $51 at the listed rate. An annual commitment is not automatically cheaper for that shorter test. Compare the period you actually expect to use, then check renewal and refund conditions; do not assume unused months are refundable.
Which plan clears your actual constraints?
The detailed comparison table lists these selected capacities:
Startup: 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses, 10 automation rules and 5 workflows.
Webinar: 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses, 100 automation rules and 20 workflows; 10 evergreen webinars.
Unlimited: the listed contact, funnel, course, automation-rule and workflow capacities are unlimited. This is not a promise that every resource or policy has no limit.
An automation rule connects a trigger to an action; a workflow organizes a sequence of automated steps. Count your required setup rather than treating the names as interchangeable.
Source discrepancy: the same page’s FAQ describes Startup funnels as unlimited, while its detailed table shows 10. We use the detailed table above. If this distinction affects your purchase, confirm the allowance in your account or with support. We have not resolved the conflicting wording with systeme.io.
Do you need to upgrade before your next launch?
Open Profile picture → Settings → My plan and record current usage. The official restriction guide identifies this screen for checking limits. Then add what the next offer needs:
Use the usage total shown in your account, not just the people you emailed recently. We did not verify how every contact status is counted; confirm any uncertain status with support before relying on it to stay below a limit.
| Resource | Write down before choosing |
|---|---|
| Contacts | Current stored total plus the people you expect to add |
| Courses and funnels | Existing resources plus the new launch’s resources |
| Rules and workflows | The triggers, actions and sequences needed for delivery and follow-up |
| Other requirements | Domains, student capacity, integrations and any essential webinar format |
A paid tier is a candidate only when every essential requirement fits. More contact capacity does not prove your exact delivery sequence is ready. Test signup, delivery and checkout separately before sending an audience to them.
Example: 1,700 contacts and a second course
Hypothetical planning example, not a customer result: a tutor has 1,700 contacts and one course. At an assumed 30–60 additional contacts per week, six weeks would bring the list to roughly 1,880–2,060. Growth could differ; this is a planning range, not a forecast.
The second course may drive the decision before contacts do: the detailed table allows one course on Free and five on Startup. Startup is therefore a candidate for this two-course plan if the rest of the setup fits. There is no reason in this example alone to choose Webinar. Review capacity before the launch instead of waiting for a warning.
Minimum-plan check: keep Free if nothing required exceeds it. Check Startup first for this two-course example. Consider Webinar only if a verified higher capacity or evergreen webinar feature is essential to your plan.
Example: 120 contacts and a first template
A designer with 120 contacts and no sales yet should first map a small signup-and-delivery test. If that entire setup fits the free allowance, stay on Free while testing. A paid plan cannot establish whether people want the template.
Check the page, file-delivery and follow-up resources you will use against the free allowance. For the overall sequence, follow the first-offer planning guide; you can test one offer alongside your existing portfolio site.

Costs and billing changes to check before paying
Payment processing: systeme.io advertises a 0% platform transaction fee. Your payment provider can still charge; Stripe’s pricing varies by market and payment method. Use your own provider’s applicable rate, not a generic percentage copied from a comparison.
Other costs: include any domain renewal, external tools you retain and applicable currency-conversion charges. Compare the checkout total with your own budget. Count migration or rebuilding time too, even when it is your own unpaid time.
Automatic upgrades: the restriction guide says a paid subscription can be moved to the next available tier when its restriction process activates. Do not assume the bill stays fixed after exceeding capacity. The guide describes warnings before this process; our free-plan guide explains the separate consequences for a free account.
Read any account warning and review usage before crossing a limit. Ask support about the charge and timing if an upgrade is imminent; do not infer a prorated amount from the public monthly price.
Cancellation and downgrade: the cancellation instructions place subscriptions under Settings → Manage my subscriptions, with cancellation taking effect just before the next expiration date. The restriction guide warns that resources above a lower plan’s limits can trigger restrictions after a downgrade. Confirm the effective date and what fits before changing your plan. This guide does not establish a refund entitlement or an upgrade-proration amount.
Make the decision in three steps
1. Check today’s usage. Identify the resource closest to its allowance.
2. Add the next offer. Choose the lowest tier that covers all required resources, or keep Free if none requires an upgrade.
3. Choose the commitment. Compare monthly flexibility with the full annual amount, and verify the final terms in your account.

Official pricing and help pages linked above were checked on September 7, 2026. This is a documentation-based comparison, not a hands-on product test. The launch scenarios are hypothetical; arithmetic assumes unchanged listed rates. Checkout-specific taxes, currency conversion, refunds and proration were not verified. See our editorial policy.
