No. Systeme.io’s automatic course access email uses a fixed template. Keep it as the account-entry message: it provides the student’s username and a link to choose a password. Put course-specific orientation—such as the first lesson, support boundary, or what to do next—in a separate message you control.
This guide is for a solo teacher planning the message a student receives after joining a course through a payment page, opt-in page, or manual enrollment. Reference + Worksheet: official Help Center pages checked November 1, 2026. No enrollment, resend, campaign, sender setting, or email delivery was performed for this article.
Give each message one job
Automatic access email
Job: get the student into the account. Systeme.io says this message contains a congratulatory note, the username, and a link to choose a password.
The Help Center says the template cannot currently be modified.
Your separate welcome message
Job: explain this course. Use it for the exact course name, first lesson, expected pace, support route, and a safe next step.
This is an editorial recommendation, not a claim that a second message is required.
Original message-role map based on documentation; it is not a systeme.io email screenshot or a delivery test.
Choose where each sentence belongs
- Login identity or password setup? Leave that job to the automatic access email. Do not copy private password links into another message.
- Course-specific next step? Put the course name, first lesson, pace, and support instructions in your separate welcome message.
- Sender address changing? Audit that setting separately. A sender change does not make the fixed access-email body editable.
Do not confuse the sender with the template
Systeme.io’s sender-address guide says the default sender applies to transactional emails such as login details, as well as newsletters and campaigns. It also says the change affects new emails only; existing emails you already created, including active automations or scheduled campaigns, need a manual sender-address update.
Not tested here: no sender setting or received message header was opened. The Help Center establishes the documented scope, but this article does not verify the From address of a live course-access email or how quickly a saved change appears.
Draft the companion welcome message
Subject: Start [course name]
Hi [first name], your separate systeme.io access email contains the sign-in details. After you set your password, open [first lesson]. Start with [one action]. If the access email is missing or the lesson does not open, reply with the step that failed. Please do not send passwords or private sign-in links.
Replace the brackets before using this privately. Do not promise that the access email arrived merely because an enrollment or resend screen reported success.
Record the message boundary before changing anything
Copy the course-access email plan
Course and offer: exact internal names
Enrollment route: payment page / opt-in / manual / Not checked
Automatic email’s job: username and password-choice link
Separate welcome message needed: yes / no / unclear
First learner action: exact lesson or page
Support route and response boundary: one safe contact method
Current default sender address: account value / Not checked
Existing automation or scheduled email to audit: name / none / Not checked
Automatic access email received: yes / no / Not tested
Student signed in and opened the lesson: yes / no / Not tested
Next action and owner: one concrete step
Keep real email addresses, usernames, order references, password links, and private course URLs out of shared copies. This worksheet plans the messages; it does not send or verify either one.
Finish with a two-message plan—or no extra message
You can finish when the automatic email’s account-entry role is clear and every course-specific sentence has a home. If the fixed email already gives enough direction for your small course, keep the setup as it is. No new tool, purchase, or automation is required.
Want to rehearse the delivery path before launch? Use the course access email resend check. If a real learner is already waiting, use the missing access email recovery guide instead.
